  Kat Allen
Kat Allen
began her career in San Francisco as a graphic designer after attending the San Francisco Academy of Art College. She worked in advertising, publishing and eventually spent several blissful years in New York City where she thrived as the assistant art director for BNY Advertising at Barneys New York.

After moving to Denver, Kat worked as an art director and freelance graphic designer while raising her two boys. She said goodbye to her computer in 2001 and worked freelance as a visual designer implementing window design and display for Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co. and Auer’s in Cherry Creek.

Kat steered her career toward interior design in 2004 and started her own company four years later. She believes strongly that your home should feel happy, not take itself too seriously, and that life is way too short to be beige.
